Return & Cancellation Policy

1. All Sales Generally Final

Due to the nature and safety requirements of fireworks, all sales are generally final once an order has been picked up from our location.

• We do not accept returns for fireworks that have been picked up and removed from our premises, except in limited cases of verified defects (see Section 3).
• We cannot accept returns for items that have been ignited, altered, mishandled, or improperly stored.

2. Order Cancellations (Before Pickup)

You may request to cancel your order before it is prepared for pickup or within 2 hours of placing the order, whichever comes first.

• If your cancellation is approved:
  • We will issue a refund to your original payment method,
  • Canceled orders may be subject to a 10% restocking/processing fee.

If your order has already been prepared or is ready for pickup, we may not be able to cancel it.

3. Defective or Damaged Fireworks

If you believe you received a defective or damaged firework:

1. Stop Using the Product Immediately
   Do not attempt to re-light or alter malfunctioning fireworks.
2. Contact Us Promptly
   Contact us within 3 days of pickup at:

     Provide your order number, product name, and a description of the issue. Photos or videos are helpful.
3. Inspection & Eligibility
   • We may ask you to bring the remaining product back to:
     Kid Dynamite Fireworks, Inc.
     603 South Broad St.
     Lexington, TN 38351
   • After inspection, we will determine, in our sole discretion, whether the item is:
     • Defective due to a manufacturing issue, or
     • Damaged or misused after pickup.
4. Refunds or Replacements
   • If we confirm the product is defective, we may, at our discretion:
     • Provide a replacement item, or
     • Issue a refund limited to the purchase price of the defective item.
   • We are not responsible for:
     • Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow safety instructions, or
     • Losses beyond the purchase price of the product.

4. Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for:

• Fireworks that have been used, lit, modified, or partially consumed
• Fireworks damaged due to improper storage, handling, or use
• Fireworks not in their original packaging (where applicable)
• Fireworks purchased more than 3 days ago
• Orders picked up by anyone under 16 years old or without valid ID
  (Note: these orders will not be released; no fireworks are given out without proper ID.)

5. Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive the wrong item(s) or your order is missing items:

1. Review your receipt and order confirmation.
2. Contact us within 3 days of pickup at 731-798-5061 or derrick@kdfireworks.com with your order number and details.
3. Once we verify the error, we will:
   • Provide the missing item(s), or
   • Arrange an appropriate refund or credit for the missing/incorrect item(s).

6. Safety & Legal Responsibility

Our return policy does not limit your responsibility to:

• Follow all safety instructions printed on the fireworks, and
• Comply with Tennessee law and local ordinances regarding the storage and use of fireworks.

Kid Dynamite Fireworks, Inc. is not liable for injury, property damage, or legal consequences arising from improper or unlawful use of fireworks.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Return & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The Effective Date above reflects the latest version. Any updates will be posted on this page.
